About Us

Welcome to Shelter Point Adventures. Professionally, we bring you over 25 years of coastal fishing experience from Haida Gwaii to southern Vancouver Island.

Salmon is our specialty, trolling or jigging for Chinook(Kings) Coho(Silver), sockeye, chum and pink. We are always seeking opportunities to enhance every trip and fully cater to the needs of everyone on board. Bring the kids for a day of adventure, fishing kelp beds for a variety of rockfish, lingcod and other sea creatures or stop off on shore to some local historic spots.

Our waters in and around Campbell River are generally very calm, with little to no ocean swell, so it makes for a great experience if you have never been on the ocean before. And don’t forget the cameras! With most of our charters you will encounter many humpback whales , sea lions and orcas. Both of our boats are transport Canada registered and insured as well, our guides are marine safety certified so you can sail knowing you’re in good hands while out on the water.
